First Class of the New Semester

On the evening of September 1st, 2025, in accordance with the unified deployment of the school, the Student Union organized all teachers and students to watch the 'First Class of the New Semester' jointly hosted by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, the Central Radio and Television Corporation, and the Ministry of Education. Specifically, the program was themed 'Remembrance and Struggle', commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, which opened a meaningful prelude to the new semester's study and life.

To start with, the program, through innovative approaches such as digital scene recreation, immersive narration, and real-site classrooms, vividly presented that magnificent period of the Anti-Japanese War history. Additionally, the letters filled with patriotic sentiments and the battle flags carrying memories of passion have enabled students to seemingly travel through time, truly experiencing the bravery, fearlessness and unwavering belief of the revolutionary predecessors.

What's more, during the viewing, students were fully absorbed and deeply moved by the stories in the program. Meanwhile, teachers watched along with students. Thus, the atmosphere at the scene was solemn and lively. Accordingly, a great many students expressed that this class gave them a deeper understanding of the history of the Anti-Japanese War. Therefore, from now on, they will surely cherish the hard-won peace even more, study hard, and contribute their own efforts to realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

On the whole, not only is this viewing of 'The First Class of the New Semester' a patriotic education, but also a spiritual cleansing for all the teachers and students. More noticeably, our school will take this as an opportunity to further strengthen students' ideological and moral education, cultivate their sense of patriotism and social responsibility, and help them devote themselves to their studies with greater enthusiasm in the new semester, and write the chapters of their youth through hard work.
